Title: Fight Night Description: "Fight Night" is a captivating pencil drawing that depicts two boxers engaged in a heated match within the confines of a boxing ring. The atmosphere is charged with tension and anticipation as the crowd cheers on from the stands. The two men are in the midst of a fierce exchange, their muscles tense and their bodies contorted as they deliver powerful punches to one another. One fighter has his fists raised high, ready to deliver a knockout blow, while the other fighter appears to be on the defensive, trying to evade the onslaught. The intense expressions on their faces convey the emotions of determination, grit, and focus that are required to compete at such a high level. In the background, a door leading to the ring is visible, with a gentleman standing in the doorway, perhaps waiting to escort the victor out of the ring. The artist's use of shading and contrast brings the scene to life, highlighting the dramatic tension between the two opponents. Overall, "Fight Night" is a dynamic artwork that captures the intensity and excitement of a boxing match, leaving the viewer on the edge of their seat, eager to see what will happen next.

Instagram profile: ----------------------- https://www.instagram.com/liebneranthony Education: -------------- 2011 - National Diploma in Fine and Applied Arts Tshwane University of Technology Pretoria, South Africa Artist statement: ---------------------- "I can't help but reflect on the beauty of everyday life. The simple moments that often go unnoticed, like a mother and child walking hand in hand, or the way the sunlight filters through the trees on a lazy afternoon. I've always been drawn to the raw, exposed instincts that make us human. The way we move and interact with the world around us. And so, I've made it my mission to capture these moments in my artwork. Through my expressionistic style, I've aimed to depict the wholesomeness of ordinary objects, and the way they connect us all. I've always been fascinated by the concept of love and how it shapes our lives. Love for our kin, love for our body, love for our partners, love for our work, and above all, love for our self. It's a driving force that pushes us to excel and prosper, and it's what I've tried to convey in my art. My sketches are elaborate and detail-oriented, with a focus on capturing the fleeting moments of life. The lack of color is a deliberate choice, as I believe it represents how all living souls are. The enigma of the art encompasses the vile divisions created by humans in the flesh. Each live soul has the same set of raw, exposed instincts, and inclinations just like any other. They all desire the same outcome from life. I want my art to be a reminder that life is more than just the big moments. It's the small, everyday moments that make up the tapestry of our lives. And it's my hope that through my art, people will find peace and tranquility in the soul, and be reminded of the beauty in the simple things."
