This pencil drawing on watercolor block paper is a filed drawing, crated outdoors on site at the waterfalls called "Fawn's Leap in Tannersville, NY. The site attracted many Hudson River painters and was a gaudy tourist destination in the 1800's. Now it is part of the Catskill National Forest. I drew the place, the mood, the day.
