About The Artwork

Fundraising Artists Logo by Louis Pak Born and raised in the Southern Connecticut / New York area. " I grew up in an 'old-world European' household of artisans...violins, rose gardens, hand carved wood..." Lou has a broad, traditional business background. " I'm not just painting for myself. Today I think more about how I can be a more positive force within various nonprofit communities." His very first illustrations were published in 1971 when he was a fan of the comic book "MAD Magazine" an iconic American humor magazine. He has enjoyed the professional honor of having a solo show of his paintings in the SoHo Arts section of New York City. He has worked as a graphic designer, copywriter and in commercial business development...helping corporations to project a positive public image. The past few years he's been proud to be associated with South Eastern Guide Dogs where, in 2018, his work was honored with "Best In Show". His current passion is growing the group "Fund Raising Artists".

Very insular at the household level. You make your own art. It was almost a assumption. Even our toys were made by hand. My grandparents were Hungarian (secular Jewish) immigrants from northeastern Hungary to the US. They really formed alot of my views about art and life. Ideally I want my work to be full of peace, abundance and love, not just copy some greek 'classic ldeal'
