I feel Voxish detail Drawing

I graduated from Art School in 2001, Having studied Environmental Art under the tuition of David Harding, Ross Sinclair, Martin Boyce and Bryndis Snaebjornsdottir amongst others. I have worked in various jobs, and fell away from Art until 2005 when I became a teacher. Over the last few years I have worked in education encouraging the next generation. In that time I have written and drawn and made work, but only sporadically and couldn't quite hit what I wanted to hit. In February this year I decided to make a few changes in my life which opened up a new avenue for work. I am now making work on a daily basis and am in love with it again. My work takes inspiration from how we live and how we interact with the world and how we try to control what we can't. The world is a place that we make ugly but inside that there is a different way of looking and finding something better. Popular culture, everyday life and experience shapes how I see and make. The viewer brings the rest.
