Artist Recognition
Artist featured in a collection
This pastel and thread artwork is inspired by a 'learning to see' session when the artist was a student at Harrogate Art School in 1960. The threads, which are suspended a few mm above the drawn surface and traverse the work, represent the artists eye as it explores and discovers the interlocking shapes within the subject. The base artwork is mounted on a foam board and is integral with its mount. (The size given is the overall size)

After leaving Harrogate School of Art, I studied Graphic Design at The London College of Printing (Now the University of the Arts London) and followed a career in that profession for the next forty years - with diversions into illustration - I now make images for pleasure alone.
