Title: Lovers Size: 22 x 30 inches Medium: Mixed media on paper "Lovers" is unlike many of the life drawings I create where only one person is posing. The relationship of a single model becomes whatever the person viewing the work desires it to be. When there is more than one person then the drawing becomes quite different. Being an artist can be a lot like being a bartender because people let you in and you get a glimpse of their private lives. "Lovers" begins to tell a story that may or may not include the viewer. It is easily understood that this drawing is a glimpse into other people's private lives and the viewer is looking in from the outside. "Lovers" is created on 140lb acid-free watercolor paper. The drawing is created in watercolor ink, graphite, watercolors and acrylic paint and ink. The work is signed. I provide a certificate of authenticity.
