Lada Kholosho is a Ukrainian artist based in Estonia. Born with a natural affinity for the visual arts, Lada was introduced to the creative world at a young age by parents who recognized and nurtured this budding talent. Enrolling in a children’s art studio, Lada embarked on a journey that would eventually solidify a lifelong passion for art, long before understanding that one could carve a career from such pursuits. Educated as a graphic artist, Lada Kholosho excels in a variety of mediums, including ink, watercolor, pencils, and more recently, oil and acrylic. With a special fondness for oil pastels, Lada skillfully blends classic and contemporary techniques to create captivating visuals. The artist’s primary inspiration comes from everyday life—urban scenes, nature, people, and even the simple elegance of nudes, all find a place in Lada Kholosho's expansive body of work. Over the years, Lada Kholosho has also made significant contributions to the literary world as an illustrator and book designer, with works preserved in prestigious institutions like the Library of Congress. After fifteen years in the publishing industry, 2019 marked a pivotal year when Lada decided to dedicate solely to painting. This transition has been fruitful, resulting in over 300 paintings now housed in private collections worldwide. Lada Kholosho's art is a reflection on the transient beauty of life’s moments, each piece a reminder of fleeting instants that, once passed, will never recur in quite the same way. Though currently not engaged in any upcoming projects, Lada continues to inspire and captivate, encouraging audiences to appreciate the inherent beauty and uniqueness of every day.
