An oryx, my mum’s favouriteanimal. A majestic creature from the Namib desert. Elegance, grace and beauty –almost perfect. Except for the one malformed horn in this case. When I saw it, I simply had to draw it, for it is the imperfections and idiosyncrasies that intrigue me.
