I live and work in the City of Wollongong, New South Wales Australia. The original indigenous settlers of this region, the Wodi Wodi people, are the caretakers of this place and I respectfully recognize their country."‹ I graduated from what was then Alexander Mackie College of Advanced Education in Sydney in 1980. "‹lthough I started out many years ago creating works on paper including silk screen, collage and drawing and had several exhibitions in the mid eighties to the early nineties I discovered digital art with the purchase of my first computer in 1995. After playing around with some simple CGI applications I discovered Corel Painter and Adobe Photoshop. "‹ These were a revelation as I was able to create and manipulate imagery with sometimes astonishing results. I have always worked with a mouse and although I have tried tablets I still find the mouse a great tool. I occasionally use photos and images that I have first processed to paper stage by hand. I then scan images such as collages and photos I have produced and then rework them into digital images. "‹ I am also working with pencils and Aquarelles and these can also be found in the galleries. The original artworks are for sale and they are also in the form of limited edition prints. "‹ "‹All of the images on this site will be printed using Giclée inkjet printing. The quality of the Giclee print rivals traditional silver-halide and gelatin printing processes and is commonly found in museums and art galleries. This process is preferred for limited editions and each print is made one at a time, not as large offset print runs. Archived files will not deteriorate in quality as negatives and film inherently do. Another tremendous advantage of Giclee printing is that digital images can be reproduced onto various media, giving the artist the ability to customize prints for a specific client. Clients can choose from Hahnemühle Digital FineArt Paper or Chromata white canvas.
