Born in Sao Paulo (Brazil). Lives and works in Rotterdam(NL) The artistic work that Wilma Kun have been developing for some years is focused on the concept of identity. This concept is declined, in all her works, through the use of her image. There are different aspects of the concept of identity which she have considered in her artistic research, such as: the sexual identity; the capacity of perception of ourselves; the reconstruction of identity's idea through the personal and collective memory; as well as the influence of media in the contemporary culture for the definition of identity.
