About The Artwork
I was inspired by a stopped sewing machine. The sewing machine is a graceful figure that reflects the times and parts of industry we have passed. The motion of the sewing machine, moving without a break, feels like planting seeds on the ground. Small things like seeds gather and grow into forests. Even a very small movement has great consequences. I can imagine a lot of movement on a drawing.
