“Young Minotaur (lines to Ariadne)”
Myth and metaphor in a composition of today's momento-mori is a reference to the continuity of the artist's struggle for a line in the maze of contemporary art.

This drawing was been selected for The 21st National Open Art Competition (UK 2017) and was in the Top Ten of MS Amlin The World Art Vote at London Oxo Towers Bargehouse.

He was also exhibited at 'Naivety' in the minotaur series, see other images, at The North Wall Gallery in Oxford. He has been a seminal work for me from 2017 and has received a lot of interest and online attention.

The other two in this series where created to compliment him as part of my Residency with TNOAC17. All are a comment on art history and the artist's struggle. An exhibition catalogue from Naivety goes into more a more detail on these drawings.
