fashion - the new black. installation, january 2011. several objects that appear to be ladie's shoes. as well as several objects one could classify as pictures, i.e., that are perfectly capable of hanging on almost any wall in almost any four-walled environment for almost any leghth of time in almost any place on this, our one and only planet. colours representing the old ./. the new. colours are reminiscent of the german national flag: black/red/gold. which in turn is reminiscent of the uniforms and colours german soldiers wore during the franco-german war (1870-1871). which in turn turned out to become the colours of the german national flag.. make fashion. not war. now! ps: and there even was a time when german soldiers wore brown uniforms ...
