This Installation resides in the premises of the mind and bodily perceptions. Its an experience of being placed between inclusion and exclusion, between lighting(clarity) and obscurity between Lust and Unlust exemplifying an unsettling anxieties of pushing and pulling as the Romantics and their concept of sublime and its delightful horror. These 2 perceptions of vision and movement are inseparable; they are intertwined in a body that moves-and-sees as part of one complete process which allows us to engage in a process of self observation and to understand the nature of our actual experience in the world. In this installation, the viewers are driven to see his position inside the metaphor of the looking society - producing an understanding that when they perceive a space around, they are actually locating themselves in the middle of it. The work's figurativeness contains references both to the history of the development of the optics towards the three-dimensional space geometry and towards the gender stereo typification. The red threads diverging like rays of light from the full, erotic, tender and seductive perfectly rounded breast creating a magnetic lunar globe that pulls all eyes through the formation of camera Lucida's geometrical shapes. The lenses on the breast focuses and metaphorically seeing through the heavily laden weapons of surveillance directing at relationship between humanity and our surveillance technological society.

I am born in a dogmatic Punjabi Indian family in Singapore in 1966. Escaped an arranged marriage at age 19 and over the years lived in Brussels where I trained as a goldsmith, in Paris and New York where I worked as a fashion model with fashion gurus like Yves Saint Laurent, Azzedine Alaia and many others.I now lives in London. I explore diverse range of media like sculpture, video, painting and public installations. Within the context of memory, desire, gender and power I explore the rupture of the fragile boundaries by ways of decontextualizing human body and organisms within the idea of Habitus, the experiences of everyday life that becomes our second nature.
