The spirit Installation

The inner life is inside. The outer world is outside. And where is the connection? How do the surrounding world, its energy, taste, color, scent make our feelings? Where is our attitude to the world outside us formed? How does the scent of perfume call up intricate associations in us and stir up long-standing reminiscences? What makes our brain rejoice at the freshness of early morning? Where do the ways of electric impulses connecting neurons into one chain and giving us at one moment the feeling of happiness, at another inciting us to depression lie? In this work I was trying to answer these questions by investigating the psychology of inner space in interaction with the energy of the surrounding world, to emphasize a new area of activity and vital energy of the future which is usually hidden deeply. Digressing from the traditional way of mosaic making and drawing a parallel between the concept and the technique I tried to divide in different flatnesses all the parts forming the mosaic image thus revealing and exposing the always hidden subtle interconnection of “details and particles”, ideas and reactions forming as a whole – my “I”.
