Description: Brief - Fine Art & Social ContextI created a series of 8 warning signs based on things we put into our bodies. Some are truly bad for us, others are hyped by the media as causes of cancer, hallucinogens or other. The images on the signs were: salt, alcohol, processed meat, mouthwash, cigarettes, coffee, cranberry juice, and I left the 8th blank to signify that pretty much anything we consume in this day and age can be said to have some kind of negative effect on our wellbeing. The message of my piece was to convey that if you want to want to live an utterly "healthy" life now, you'd be better off never leaving your home. Quite a negative existence I think.Year Created: 2009
