About The Artwork

I like to see piles of coins come together, stacked and scattered randomly, like organic creatures. They are pushed and thrown with powerful sound. I selected the image of Queen Elizabeth II icon in one dollar coins being published in Hong Kong from 1978 to 1980. It is a product of the British government period in Hong Kong and a kind of memory of us. It gathers together irregularly and is divided into lines with a polka dot pattern, creating a feeling of instability……it comes to fade away after the Queen dies.
