About The Artwork
These are NOT Dildos! they might LOOK like dildos, perhaps, they might FEEL like Dildos, perhaps, they might even WORK like Dildos, perhaps, but that was not my original intention. I wanted to create a work that reflected the Banalisation, and commercialization of the maria figures in Lourdes. where you can buy a plastic bottle in the shape of the Madonna and then go and fill it up with water. I wanted to create a beautiful original work in this shape as my answer to the blasphemy of the Virgin in these cheep traders stalls. It has created a huge furore here in Austria
