#Pinned Down - Limited Edition 1 of 1 Artwork

Started with actual observations, working with figure studies and visually colleging the outcomes together to get the mood for a Surrealistic composition. Proportion and form, may have been the original transmission of the individual studies, to then orchestrate a visual narrative. As a Visual Arts educator - Artist, or is it Artist - Visual Arts educator, there is never a time that I am not conscious of my surroundings. Any single fragment of these interactions could be a muse to spark to explore, experiment and develop for personal use or disclose to others who are in my opinion the leaders of tomorrow. I have yet to encounter any process of making Art work for which I haven't been intrigued to get my hands on experiencing the new media and taking a way that which I believe I can do with the new experience. Whether the same result is what I see in these explorations or what is developed when shared with those who I mentor, all fuels the new original images of tomorrow. It may ever spark creative problem solving for those who have been working with an issue that needs attention. My explorations are a never ending involvement with the subject, medium, experience, skills, education and out come with each. As I have a great time in these explorations, like opening a package that has been sent from a loved one. Anticipation fuels the drive to work with my given vehicle, but not rip it open and scatter the elements within it's organization of principles, as the individual or media are in need of the chance to work the problem and that is a bit more than anyone of us. Push for the next unique and original explorations to enrich our lives. Art work that may or may not have an emotional bond with you, placed on display and cherished or pushed to the back of your closet. We strive for the first but then again it will take a look by others to keep it from the fate of the second.
