About The Artwork

Sisyphus, 2009, is a palm sized video projection where the viewers capture the video onto their open hand. The video is of a woman who appears to climb up the viewer's hand but slides back down repeatedly. Each time she slides back down, she draws a line of chalk which appears to mix with the lines of the view's palm. This is another collaboration with choreographer David Ingram. Sisyphus is currently on view at the US Embassy in Stockholm Sweden. In the collection of Ladonna Nicolas and Larry Shapin. Art includes video projector/armature/dvd player/dvd or digital file for digital player (TBA)
