About The Artwork
The digital prints from this series were created by manipulating photographs of installations of my personal beach collection. During this digital "geo-morphing" process; organic forms such as snakes,crabs, orcas, molluscs, and butterflies emerged from the rock and driftwood. While this strange virtual biological world unfolded under my fingers on the keyboard, I imagined Darwin’s excitement as he drew what he saw on Galapagos Islands.
