About The Artwork
_Synaesthesia: A condition in which one type of stimulation evokes the sensation of another, as when the hearing of a sound produces the visualisation of a colour._ In 2008 the Massed Bands of HM Royal Marines headlined the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Little did they know what strange and disturbing events would occur when they strayed into my camera range. One year on, having endured cruel and unusual distortions, inversions and enhancements in the twin Hells of Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro, they emerged transformed forever into this psychedelic melange of colour and sound. And the Trickster looked upon hisdisciple's handiwork, and he found it ..................groovy!
