Beautiful art dress, RECYCLED leather dress with oil painting and mixed media (INK; EMBROIDERY; OIL PAINTING) hung on a driftwood stick. The dress is absolutely unique and hand-painted work of art by me. It also has a history: The medieval Inquisition persecuted up to 60,000 innocent people as witches ( mostly women and girls ), inquisitors such as Konrad von Marburg had countless innocent women executed at the stake as witches. As we know today, the convicted "witches" were mostly very clever women who made medicines, were educated and could heal people. Therefore they came into conflict and competition with the "male church" in the Middle Ages. Character assassinations, denunciation, the hatred of entire communities, neighbors, even your own family led to your downfall. This work of art honors these wise women and sets a memorial to them. Even now, in 2023, parts of the digital world are characterized by similar structures. Hatred and hatred, persecution, character assassination, stalking have become more than ever part of digital life. Our privacy is more than at risk. It is urgently important to fight against this with moral courage and to hold those responsible accountable, never to remain silent and never to look away!
