This is a depiction of the entrapment of Anorexia Nervosa. When one is trapped in this disorder, they feel like a bound slave, unable to be freed. They feel worthless and never good enough. They are bound by a mental illness that is intertwined with depression, self-hatred, and an outward expression of the need for help.

I am a young aspiring artist. I graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts and Psychology. A lot of my work deals with psychological issues, or depictions of my personal perceptions of them. Some come from direct personal experience, other by second hand experiences with such illnesses. It is my hope that my work will get others to think, expand minds, and encourage others to express their life's experiences in their art as well. I hope my art can be a great addition to your collection!
