1702152 Mixed media painting on two magazine pages "Covers & Pages" paintings celebrates and highlights my endless passion to graffiti, fashion and magazines, combining "fresh" images of today's street views with selected fashion images. It feels like walking into billboard in smaller scale. [...] "I began my adventure with graffiti art when I was about 9. When went on family vacation I was secretly tagging my graffiti nickname "Bat" everywhere, with black permanent marker bought by my Mother. My parents were very understanding for my "thing" with magazines and graffiti. Ironically my Father was a policeman! They let me cover my entire room with magazine cuttings and paint walls with markers and spray paint. Colourful magazines were everywhere and half used spray cans. Street "performance" is a glory time! Only few things has changed since... I love magazines. First contact with them as far I can remember was by watching page by page, sort of studying images and then...by sitting on their glossy cover I was sliding on the carpet through the rooms and corridor! My interest in fashion was like a delicate feeling. I guess I didn't realised till some time, how I was always concern and meticulous about fashion and how I always love it in own fastidious way. I used to customise my gowns, shoes. And saying lightly, I wasn't too happy when I was told what to wear. There is a great feeling in all what we see,and that really interest me.
