70s IBM Typewriter on Turquoise Painting

I consider this painting to be a design triple threat: a beautifully designed object, simply rendered, edged in beautiful faux leather and painted tacks. I was inspired to make something minimal that pleases the eye, but that also evokes a lost world of writers and stories, adventures, philosophies, all captured on a machine like this one. I think this painting goes great with two other paintings also for sale on Saatchi - Sony Reel to Reel Player on Lt. Gray and Vintage Polaroid Camera on Navy. My paintings have appeared throughout LA, in "Better Homes and Gardens" publications and at Room and Board stores nationally. In addition to being a painter, I am also a filmmaker living in Los Angeles - my best known film is "Four Boxes."
