About The Artwork

This work is inspired by the Scottish highlands and in particular Glen Coe, such a majestic valley to travel through. We stopped and sat for a while enjoying the view on a warm sunny summers day, what a stunning place ! I really wanted the viewers to look upon the painting as if looking at the valley to feel the warmth of the sun, and see the beauty of the mountains laid out before you . I am completely drawn to the medium of watercolour together with liquid acrylic and ink. i feel it gives me freedom to create, to draw upon the inner doodle inside ones self.
