About The Artwork
This abstract painting series came during and after a national health emergency. I wanted to take all this emotion and angst and combine it with artistic elements associated with Spring, rebirth, renewal, and do it in a way that forces the viewer to think "outside the box" or reach into themselves in a form of personal introspection thus hopefully giving birth to a stronger self realization about their life and place in the world. Strong, gestural brush strokes and emotive colors help achieve this end.
