About The Artwork

The painting was made under the impression of the milestone and the internal changes that have already taken place. When the real change has come, a part inside seems to die, making way for the new. Often we need a lot of repetition for the realisation to occur. The painting depicts the symbolism of reincarnation. Everyone will see it differently. I see it this way: on the left is a large flower, a symbol of the talent that man has come to earth with, something that he would like to be able to incarnate. In the middle, with his back to the viewer, stands the man himself, facing the river of life and ready to plunge into it, to emerge from incarnation and return again. In fact, he has already swum this river many times from incarnation to incarnation. The mango, to the right, is what the human being really embodied on Earth, the fetus in the womb is a symbol of birth and the colored feathers on his head are a number of life stories that the human being has created. The painting is ready to be hung

Ellen Frischbutter, Germany, Leipzig. Since childhood I loved to draw, drew well and watched with pleasure how my father drew, he was not a painter, but perfectly drew with pencil and oil paints. In life I chose the profession of a psychologist, but that choice has led me to creativity. Doing art therapy with clients, watching the whimsical flow of paint, I found myself wanting to paint everything from ethereal dreams, real objects to fantastical, imaginary subjects and dreams. I fell in love with painting, attended various painting courses and once I felt the freedom to move on canvas I like to paint in different techniques and on different subjects. My artist pseudonym is Frilen
