About The Artwork

A moment of the collision particles process inside institute CERN. In the year of 2006. the most advanced human instrument of a 21st century to communicate with gods, CERN institute in Swiss, just warm itself up. I made a series of a ritualistic performances to fire up state of mind where I can see what is behind of collision process inside institute. This is a piece about remembering. I tried to remember what i see behind our reality. The process of remembering and translation to the human language produce this painting. I created it in Berlin during half of year of a residency. I lived between east and west parts of the city, trying not to be stable myself but to be in a kind of liquid state, formal but not solid. The purpose of this painting is to preserve the moment of one of many collisions inside Cern institute and to underline unique human notion to preserve the moment which is irrelevant to the, per example, machine or machine society. I used acrylic on canvas, or classical technique of working by hands, to praise human struggle to transform material in to the emotional. Maybe to discover a weapon which will protect us from dehumanization. Practical: Due to the costs of international transport and the safety this picture is supplied rolled up. Stretching is very easy because on each side there is a unpainted surfaces intended for the framework. Bigger pictures should be left to a professional. Notice: Street art on canvas: the image is deliberately painted rough, with visible brush strokes and high colour transparency... The result is an extreme energy of the composition in the foreground, with no mitigation perspective and illusion. Inspired by the style of graffiti artists - broad strokes, clear colour and two-dimensional effects to be visible on a busy street or within a greater distance. The difference from the classical street or graffiti art is intention and structure of this images - the mix of figurative scenes, abstract expressionism, pop art, references to art history and computer graphics painted by hand... Real image is somewhere between the canvas and spectator gaze. At home, from the wall, this painting radiates high level of energy and you should choose a space for it accordingly.
