About Jeewan Suwal "‹ when I was child, I remember I was drawing my own animated forms.MY father admired my art.He is my first inspiration. My father is a simple farmer, and I was brought up in that simple farming background. During childhood I was enjoying nature, field, soil, plants, animals, hills, mountains, figures, landscapes, and colors with full childish-play. My desire toward the creative world was there from the beginning of my childhood. As my curiosity and interest to learn painting grows in 1997 I started taking private lessons from my first art teacher Sri Dhruba Prajapati. 1997-2001 I was learning basic fundamental principles of painting, creative process with my teachers and friend. Every weekend I used to go for outdoor study (landscapes). I like to paint landscapes; I enjoyed painting nature and architecture. I decided to learn more about Art and joined Lalitkala Campus(Fine Arts College), Kathmandu in 2003, I finished one yeas Intermediate of Fine Arts(I.F.A.) course there in 2004. Kathmandu University of Art and Design brought a turn in my creative journey. Mr. Sujan Chitrakar and Nabendra Limbu are my insperation to have a wider vision about Art. I was doing my B.F.A. a first and second semesters in that University. Adwar Worllo was director that time. I got to know more about European and American art from that institute. Ravindra Puri(Nepalese emiinent artist) and Claude Monserat (Spanist) did help me, i thanks heartly for helping me conceptually and technically to explore more possibilities in my art. Time came in 2006, when I got ICCR scholarship from Indian government and then I shift from Kathmandu University to Banaras Hindu University. Thanks to ICCR scholarship. I graduated in painting from faculty of visual art, Banaras Hindu University in 2010 and post-graduated from same University in 2012 with honor. 2012 on-wards i am working as a active freelancer. Selected Art Exhibitions 2013 Nivsaturday show( a group show), New Delhi 2011-2012- international artist show, B.H.
