About The Artwork

This painting of a confident woman was inspired by a fashion photo I saw. It is an expressionist figure painting of a woman sitting on a park bench. Her right arm is resting on the back of the bench, he legs are crossed. She is anonymous because you cannot see her face. She is a symbol of a working woman. The 9x12" painting is on paper, mounted onto a cradled panel. There is a wire on the back for easy hanging right from the box. Mailed promptly in a sturdy box.

I paint everyday in my home studio. My subject matter changes but my style stays the same. It is always from me. My work is about the world around me both inner and outer. I look to other artists for inspiration, photographs and life. Sometimes my paintings are from imagination and other times from life.
