(BFA, Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, R.I.: MAEd, Alliant University, San Diego, Calif.: MFA, painting, University of Miami) taught fine arts and design at both the secondary and university levels in the United States, England, and Papua New Guinea, and served two years on the faculty of RISD. White was a founder of the Intercultural Council of the Arts in San Diego, California, served on the National Bicentennial Committee, and designed the Fronteras Program. While in Papua New Guinea, he served on the Prime Minister's Council to Preserve the National Culture and founded the Cultural and Contemporary Arts Museum at Balob Teachers College in Lae. While in the corporate world, White managed companies in California and had a successful career as a marketing and sales executive. He currently maintains a painting studio in Pompano Beach, Florida, and is a college Dean of Arts and Humanities.
