Painting, Acrylic on Cardboard

This is the story of an American girl named Chelsea who gave herself to those who took advantage of her. She sacrificed her vision and lost her most precious limb until she was overtaken by those who couldn't see. Now she swats the city stars with her other hand. History repeats itself and America is the new Roman Empire.... The painted subject here is inspired by the statues from powerful empires that are now missing limbs as a result of those empires being taken over. Heads Up. Household gloss on printed fabric stitched back together and stretched over objects and bars.

Born 1980 in Neenah, Wisconsin. Raised in Sweden and upstate NY. I've been living out of a suitcase since the age of 18. I moved from Brooklyn to Kansas City close to eight years ago to work on my latest project. I have posted stage 1 of what I'm categorizing as a hyper work on Instagram. Click on the Instagram icon below my profile picture to check it out. Now that it is posted on my feed I am moving back east just outside of NYC. I believe the human body is the greatest sculpture and that life is the greatest work of art....everything that I create (at least everything that I show) stands on its' own while also being a puzzle piece that forms a bigger picture. Designing one of a kind creations and wanting them to be more accessible I began making clothes and created a company to house them under. Max Mara owns half of the name Penny for clothing and I own the other half. At some point, and with the help of perhaps an agency, I'll team up with them to create a line of clothes and other things. I own the IP on what's necessary but there are many items and names that simply don't need to be owned.... the words hyper and work are of course not in need of any IP . As I mentioned up top simply click the Instagram icon below the profile pic to see it. Ted
