American chopper (call sign - Crazyhorse) fires on group of people killing most of them including two Reuters journalists. Than opens fire on another group of people in a van that came on the scene to help injured. 2 kids injured in the van. Few years later video from the chopper gun camera that general public was not supposed to see leaked and everybody could see it on www.wikilekas.org. Nobody charged. Justice is crying. I have seen the video many times, and than one day when I carefully listened to the communication between pilot and gunner after they have killed those people I was shocked with the language they used. It was almost like they were sitting at livingroom in front of a TV and played a game on Xbox. Vietnam war had it's hippies and modern wars got it's gamers. My intention for this painting was calm and peaceful atmosphere of cleanlieness of a video game with no clear information what is actually going on. It looks calm and clean but I have used a screenshot from the actual and very real video (thats why it is B/W) to recreate the actual scene of a dying man... real man with his dreams and fears, his loving family... he is one of the journalists killed in cold blood.
