About The Artwork

The definition of damsel is: a young woman: a archaic : a young unmarried woman of noble birth. b : girl. The theme of this painting is the feminine evolution through centuries. Nowadays women inspire in a very different way and represent a very different role. This artwork reflects the empowerment of women and the controversy over what women used to be. A woman can be many things, and also play many different roles. But in order to do that, you still have to draw your own lines as a woman and make sure the limits are visible.

I am a visual artist based in Athens, Greece. My work is characterized by a unique blend of traditional and modern techniques, which I employ to explore themes such as memory, identity, and the human condition. My work often incorporates a variety of media, including drawing, painting, and installation, which allows me to create layered, textured works that are both visually compelling and conceptually rich. One of my most significant themes is memory and I frequently explore this theme through my work. I am interested in how memories are formed and how they are linked to personal and collective identity. My work often incorporates found objects and materials, such as photographs, maps, and books, which Ι use to create collages and installations that evoke a sense of nostalgia and the passage of time. Another significant theme in my work is the human condition. I am interested in the ways in which people navigate the complexities of the modern world, and I explore this through my use of symbolism and metaphor. Many of my works depict figures in various states of vulnerability or isolation, suggesting a sense of alienation and disconnection. Overall, I am happy that my work engages with some of the most pressing issues of our time.
