Once I read in an article from "Die Zeit" that man tend to be more happy about their look than woman. Even more interesting: they tend to over-estimate themselves, and woman tend to under-estimate themselves. Of course it´s not always like that, but I must admit that this also my own experience. We all know the myth of Narciss. He really is beautifull. So he falls in love with himself. But in this case, the man I painted, ist just an average looking guy that believes he looks like a model. I met a lot of guys like that!

With her south American origin, her long European stay, and an art degree in Germany, she is a downright cosmopolitan personality.
