About The Artwork
This painting began as a piece from a previous work. As I worked on it it became clearer to me what it was going to need..( certain forms became clearer so I enhanced their presence ) in turn the rest of the composition was affected by my decisions . I continued working on it until there were no more aesthetic problems within the piece. As it evolved towards the point where more work detracted from what I initially conceived, I stopped. This decision is always difficult.
