This image emerged while reading the book 'Mythos' written by Stephen Fry. The Greek gods inspire me everytime, over and over again. His colourful way of describing things put these kinds of images in my head. Its made of acrylic and oilpaint on hardboard. I like the firm material. The image is kind of abstract because this heaven for the gods is for all of us, because we are all gods in our own worlds, at least a little bit.. I hope! So hope is also important because heaven is a good place. The painting is framed in a white frame ( in Dutch; baklijst)
