Empty Lot near 31st and Gilham, Kansas City Painting

This is a landscape I did with the Kansas City Plein Air Club. We went to a site at 31st and Gilham Road in Kansas City. There were a lot of empty, neglected lots in the neighborhood. I found a spot on a hill looking down at this pile of rubble and bricks. I used mostly watercolor, some gouache and ink. It started to rain, so I had to quit early.
