About The Artwork

This is a painting of a ninteenth century glebe house used for famine relief during Irish potatoe famine. Painting was done while visiting Ballinglen course in 2018. Considerations to do with Architectural geometric forms, qualities of light and a strong sense of place inspired the composition.
