The consternation and farewell of the mourning people full of distinctive mourning characters, especially the boy in the foreground, encouraged me to sketch sketches of this scene. Despite the unusual scenery in this picture, I tried to capture this moments. I chose for this image a calm brown tone, on the Ultramarinblue primed background, which appears throughout the image.

Germany
I was born in Novi Sad (former Yugoslavia, now Serbia). After completing studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade majoring in piano, I went to Germany and settled down near Frankfurt, where I worked as a piano teacher and as painter. In 2006, I opened my studio - in the historic district in the city of Passau and devoted myself to painting as a freelance painter. As a pianist, I am "only" an interpreter alien works. As a painter I have the freedom to create my own works, in which I can express my personal feelings, fantasies and thoughts in form and colour. It is an exciting process - from the idea to the finished picture - an everlasting creation from the experienced world and the world of fantasy, their contents, in the work process. Thus are the impressions which are found in them; whether loosely sketchy or more in detail. As an advocate of realistic painting (sometimes slightly abstracted), my themes are always human and world-wide. In contrast to some painters who like to write a subject, I need the diversity - both the variety of the pictorial ideas, as well as the painting techniques. Whether with brush or painting knife, oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolour or drawing -it is always an adventure, immersed in ever new worlds, in order to reproduce them in colour and form. I think the best thing for every artist is when the viewer can feel what we want to express with our work. I live and work in Passau, Germany.
