Fear Painting

This piece was designed to externalise and process and to play with the artists anxiety about money, the unsteadiness and lack of it. The anxiety that is safe to say the artist got from her upbringing, her culture - from socialist Hungary where she was born and raised for the first 7 years of her life. As a culture no-money-anxiety was flowing in the veins of the nation, and extremely strongly in the way of being of the artists mother who was a single mom in the times when there was no such thung as single mom in that society. The artist hopes to invoke strenght and raw power in the viewer, and to evoke rootedness by bringing forth earthy colours and textures. This piece needs a hanging hardware to be installed into it, or a sturdy frame to hang with.
