About The Artwork
One of a series of paintings in my Flooded Plains series. I was very inspired by the floods in the deserts of Australia which filled Lake Eyre. This massive lake, the size of a country had not had water in it for about 100 years, and so it was amazing when the desert came to life, the plants began to grow and the birds flocked in their thousands to the newly filled waterholes. Amazing!
