Florida After-Image #1 Painting

"Florida After-image #1" 48 X 36", acrylic on 1.75"-deep gallery-wrapped canvas. I collaborated with #activist and #photographer #JohnBobCarlos on this #painting. We're bringing attention to the fact that the #ROGG (#RiverofGrassGreenway) will adversely affect #water flow in the #Everglades. In turn, so will the #Miccosukee's way of life be affected, as well as that of #wildlife and possibly Miami's water supply in general. This painting is based on JohnBob's #photo of an area where the "bike path" would cut through, and is part of my "#After-Image" series. Unless we protect our world, places like this may be nothing but an #after-image -- the image you see when you close your eyes after staring at something bright.
