There are so many images of Freddie Mercury, but this one of him taken from the Bohemian Rhapsody video is my favourite. What a talent he was and what a performer! I remember when Queen did their 20 minute slot at Live Aid and just blew everyone away. They knew it was their moment to reach a world audience and who could not be captivated by that performance. I'm in goose bumps just thinking about it. RIP, Freddie.

I've been painting in acrylic since 2014 and have taken inspiration from David Hockney, Francoise Nielly and Solly Smook. Recently I found my own style with my series of Scottish landscapes, but I continue to experiment with my Lockdown-inspired images and have lately produced my series of Painted Ladies.
