About The Artwork
“Fragment paintings” my recent art works, a result of exploration of various disciplines of arts like cinema, theatre, old paintings, fashion, fotography..they appear scenic and extravagant settings including architectural items and costumes as important elements of a whole image, esealy tracing various cretive techniques and approaches. The final result I strive to obtain is based on collage processing / oil painting that helps me to detach from traditional methods, decompose and explore more as a construction of a contrasting details in sense of shape and color. Fragments, scenes and frames have been reassembled to generate new level of identity, thus trying to eliminate time and place factor and transmit a sense of becoming and dynamism.

The oeuvres of a medium and large scale incorporating a large-scale of black and white images combined with bright colors, shapes, fragments of architecture, rigorously put together in a single piece. An appropriate term for these oeuvres would be Collage Paintings as collage is an important part of whole processes. The project derives from an idea to recreate supernatural enigmatic and surreal environments and scenes. These works attest to ongoing artist's inspiration form texts, fascination with theatre, cinema, photography, imaginative panoramas that easily could be traced in each oeuvre.
