Glowing Welcome Painting

For me this painting represents a loving home, a "nest". When I gave this title, I was thinking about that feeling of anticipation when you can`t wait for your other half to arrive home from work and from the other person`s perspective, it`s that lovely feeling when you arrive home and your partner/husband/wife is waiting for you with love and warmth ?. This subject was inspired by events from my own life. I was single for quite a few years and to be honest I found it very hard to meet somebody with whom I can really connect...now I know I just went through a so called "strong and independent women" stage, which is a phase in every women`s life, when they learn to be independent, when they learn their strength. It`s an important stage to go through, but looking back I can say, this is when we women are connected to our masculine side. When we are in our `masculine` energy, it`s only natural that we don`t attract men. Once we learn our stregth as women it`s time to progress forward to integrate our masculine and feminine aspects...and move forward into a loving relationship. I made this painting when I met my other half. It`s an appreciation for loving relationships. This artwork has a black floating frame and is ready to hang.
