Who's hiding there? Maybe you can see a fish hiding among the snags?.. This little playful painting has rich, accentuated textural layers. The “fish scales” in the center are done in black and silver and have a glossy finish, while the “driftwoods” are done in swamp green and accented with gold and have no such finish. This contrast is the main zest of the work. The sides of the canvas are part of the composition, so the painting is ready to hang without an additional frame. The hand-stretched canvas is signed on the back.
