Hollyhoks I Painting

Lithuanian painter Gintautas Augustinas Vasionis was born in 1930 in Kaunas, Lithuania. His first art teacher was professor Konstantinas Bogdanas, the former chairman of the Union of Lithuanian Artists. G.A. Vasionis studied painting with the artists Rimas Bičiūnas and Romualdas Kuncas. He prepared 20 personal exhibitions of his paintings in Lithuania, Luxembourg and Brussels. In 2005, as a member of the Swiss "Ars Nova Suisse" society of The International association of free lance artists, he prepared an exhibition of his painting works in the society, which was evaluated with the society's mark "Verliehen on Gintautas A. Vasionis AWARD 05". n 2007, in Great Britain, as a true member of "The Society of Floral Painters", G.A. Vasionis was awarded the "Miggy and Gordon Bath" prize and a diploma for the painting "White Roses". In 2007, the Swiss art association ARTBOX.GALLERY invited Gintautas A. Vasionis to participate in the art project ARTBOX-PROJECT NEWYORK1.0 organized by them. After this project, he also participated in seven ARTBOX.GALLERY projects in Miami, USA, Zurich, Switzerland 4 times, Barcelona, Spain, Venice, Italy.
